The VaLoo association was founded on World Toilet Day 2021. At VaLoo, experts from the fields of practice and science, as well as associations, research institutes, and other interested parties, are committed to circular sanitation systems that operate according to the principles of the circular economy. We aim to treat urine, feces, and wastewater as valuable resources, using them to provide a safe and clean supply that consumes less water and energy while recovering nutrients.
